Saddle club to host Cowgirl Tough Competition on Saturday

PLEASANTON – The Pleasanton Saddle Club arena will be hosting a Cowgirl Tough Competition beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 10321 Scott Rd. As many as 50 cowgirls will test their skills in the four events during the competition.


The competition is sponsored by Umphenour Farms and will include barrel racing, breakaway calf roping, pole bending, and goat tying. 


The saddle club will be operating the concession stand at the event.


The saddle club will also sponsor the Mark Davis Memorial Showdeo at its arena on Saturday, Nov. 2, beginning at 1 p.m. It will be a fundraising event for the club.
