April 14, 1990 — September 11, 2026

Samuel Chilton Bryant, 36, of Centerville, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 11, 2026 at St. Luke's Hospital Heart Institute, Kansas City, Missouri, after a serious health battle. Sam was born on April 14, 1990 in Kansas City, Kansas, and came to his loving parents, Patrick and Peggy Bryant through an open adoption.

Sam had a zest for life from a very young age. He enjoyed volunteering for Operation Wildlife where he was recognized for his gentleness and strong work ethic. Following Sam's graduation from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 2009, where he earned a certificate in small engine repair, he studied auto tech at Kansas City Kansas Community College and Johnson County Community College.

Sam had a passion for fishing, especially for bass and catfish. He enjoyed racing his remote control cars and trucks and swimming. Sam was a people person and nothing gave him greater joy than to be with others just visiting. Sam was a member of the Garnett Church of the Nazarene, Garnett, Kansas.

Sam is survived by his parents, Pat and Peggy Bryant; his brother, Joshua Allen Bryant; and his birth parents, Heather McClanahan and Aaron Michael Tull; aunt and uncle, Rebeccajean and John Condon; and cousins, Jonnie Reeve, Mark Bryant, and Jill Hambly. Sam will be greatly missed by his family and friends

Sam has been cremated according to his wishes. A Celebration of Life service will be announced later.
