Sharon Rae Wagner Sarlls, age 81, Spring Hill, Kansas, formerly of Amsterdam, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023.  She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 24, 1942, the daughter of Raymond and Mildred Ricketts Wagner.  She attended Argentine High School.  At the age of 14, she was saved and baptized in the Olivet Baptist Church and joined the South Park Baptist Church.


She had an entrepreneurial spirit, being a business owner in DeSoto, Kansas.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, planning trips, and loved to travel.  She also made jewelry out of various types of stone.  Sharon graduated from Fort Scott Culinary School.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Raymond and Jon Thomas Wagner.  Sharon is survived by four children, Kirk Goodman, Steven Bailes, Terrie Bailes, and Sheila Goodman; two sisters, Patricia Royalty and Marsha Phillips and husband Gary; a brother, Mark Wagner; and several grandchildren.  


Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, La Cygne Chapel.  Burial in the Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to service time at the La Cygne Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to Grady's Kids.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
