Sheriff's report for the week ending Sept. 7

MOUND CITY – The Linn County’s Sheriff’s report for Monday, Sept. 9 showed that the current numbers for the week ending Sept. 7 were:

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 67. Ten prisoners were released the past week.

• Total prisoners in were 66.

• One prisoner was sent to another facility. 

• Forty-nine prisoners were from other facilities (30 USMS, 22 WYCO) ($3,902.00/day)

• Total 911 calls were 96. 

• There were 4,731 jail contacts.                                                                                                         • Total calls for service were 495. 

• Total civil service papers served were 13.

• There were four vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Ten new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Seven cases were closed.

• There were five vehicle crashes.

• There were 87 SRO activities.

• There were 157 bailiff contacts resulting in 33 calls for service. 

• Eleven reports of livestock out.
