Sunday cancellations announced, schools closed on Monday

Because of hazardous road conditions, several churches have announced that in-person services have been cancelled for Sunday, Jan. 5. If your church has cancelled services and is not listed here, please send an email to info@linncountyjournal.com so we can post them.

All three Linn County school districts will not hold classes on Monday because of previously scheduled teacher in-services.

Here are the cancellations we are aware of:

• First Baptist Church of Fort Scott, activities cancelled

• Linn Valley Community Church, activities cancelled
