Top Jayhawk spellers to advance to Linn County bee

MOUND CITY – Three Jayhawk Elementary School (JES) students and three Jayhawk-Linn Junior High School students took top spelling honors at their respective schools recently. The students will participate in the Linn County Spelling Bee at the Prairie View Performing Arts Center at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6.
