Two area authors to be a Mound City Library this week

Amanda Goodwin, the author and illustrator of the children's book, Let's Go Somewhere Together will be at the Mound City Library on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

MOUND CITY – Two area authors will be at the Mound City Library this week.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 10 a.m., Amanda Goodwin will be at the library to lead an Adventure Story Time with her new book, Let’s Go Somewhere Together.

On Friday, Sept. 15, at 3 pm, Ron Briggs will be at the library for a book signing and to share about his new book series, “The Yellow Hair” series.

Next week’s schedule has an event for children from elementary school to high school.

On Thursday, Sept. 21, at 3:45 pm, Frannie Eastwood from the K-State Extension and Research Office with be here for a cooking class, Cooking With Kids.

Registration is required for Cooking with Kids, and it is also recommended (so you can get a swag bag) with Sept. 12’s Adventure Story Time.
