Wilbur Louis King, age 92, Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024.  He was born in Kansas City, Kansas the son of James and Goldie Hawk King.  


Most of his working career was spent managing service stations.  Later in life he did small engine and lawn mower repair.  


Wilbur was united in marriage to Earlene Willcut on September 4, 1956.  He attended Stony Point Baptist Church and was a collector of toys, mostly cars and trucks.


He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Pam Sumners; a grandson, Matthew; and eight siblings, Bud, Marion, Joseph, Harold, Richard, Frances, Sara, and Goldie.


Wilbur is survived by his wifie, Earlene; a daughter, Susan Ginger; two sons, Michael King and wife Connie, and Terry King and wife Donna; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.  


A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel.  Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time at the Pleasanton Chapel.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Stony Point Baptist Church.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
