William "Bill" Jesse Day, age 76 of La Cygne, Kansas formerly from Roseville, Illinois, passed away at his home on Friday, Ocotber 13, 2023. Bill was born the son of Roy and Frances (Belville) Day on October 30, 1946 at Macomb, Illinois.
He enjoyed his job of farming in Roseville and also driving a truck for Sysco. Bill also loved to be outside doing odds and ends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Tom, and a sister, Beverly. Bill is survived by his wife, Ede of the home; his two sons, Steven Day (Amy), and Jeff Day (Angie); two daughters, Julie (Ronnie) and Patty; three stepsons, Clayton, Charlie (Katie), and James (Kasey); three stepdaughters, Jennifer, Kimberly and Teresa (Chase); twenty grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
