June 23, 1970 — August 2, 2026 James "Jim" C. Davis, age 56 of Hume, Missouri, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Hume Christian Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until service time. MOUND CITY – No Linn County Commission was held on Monday, July 6, due to lack of a quorum. Commissioners Alison Hamilton and Jason Hightower were unable to attend the meeting, The next commission meeting will be held Monday, July 13, at 9 a.m.
