Ambulance report for first week of May

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners received reports from the ambulance service on Monday, May 5.


American Medical Response (AMR) Operations Manager Dawn Brooks told the commissioners that she expected to have the extension agreement with the county available in the next two or three weeks.


Brooks gave the month to date ambulance reports from May 1 through May 4. There have been a total of 4 calls resulting in 3 transports. The average response time is 14 minutes 54 seconds. The calls by city were:

• Blue Mound, no calls for service

• Centerville, no calls for service

• Fulton, no calls for service

• Greeley, no calls for service

• La Cygne, 1 call, 0 transports 

• Fontana, no calls for service

• Lane, no calls for service

• Linn Valley, no calls for service

• Rich Hill, no calls for service

• Mound City, 3 calls, 3 transports

• Parker, no calls for service 

• Pleasanton, no calls for service

• Prescott, no calls for service


Response numbers and times for this time period by Commission Districts are:


District 1 - 1 responses, 0 transports, 13 minutes 14 seconds response time

District 2 - 3 responses, 3 transports, 15 minutes 27 seconds average response time

District 3 - no calls for service
