Deborah Anne "Debbie" Rhynerson, age 65, Blue Mound, Kansas, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024.  She was born in Fort Scott, Kansas, on September 17, 1958, the daughter of Edwin T. and Mildred L. Dean Peery.


She was in the first class to graduate from Jayhawk Linn High School.  Debbie was united in marriage to Donnie Rhynerson on February 10, 1978.  She had recently retired after serving as Clerk of Jayhawk USD 346.  Deb was all about family and helping others.


She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracy Jo Rhynerson on February 24, 2003; a brother, Gary Peery; and a sister, Joyce Cummings.  Deb is survived by her husband, Donnie; a son, Dustin Rhynerson; three brothers, Tom Peery, Ed Peery, and Bob Peery; two sisters, Carolyn McGown and Judy DeMott; three grandchildren, Samantha, Abigail, and Dawson; one great-grandchild, Ryker; and one due in April, Mattylenn.  


Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Jayhawk Elementary School.  Visitation will follow until 4:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Debbie Rhynerson Memorial Fund, to be used for a children's cause.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
