Edith Juanita Kirbey, age 79, of Butler, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.  She was born on July 12, 1945, the daughter of Harry Otis and Olinea Chamberlain Wisdom Sr. at Worland, Missouri.  


Edith loved driving, doing jigsaw puzzles, fishing anytime she could, collecting dolls, watching television (especially soap operas) and gardening.  


She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Charles Aaron, Arthur Ray and Rickie Allen Wisdom; and two sisters, Nancy Ellen Schmidt and Lillie Rose Hill.


She is survived by two sons, Jason (Kim) Jackson and Arthur Allen Pierce; a daughter, Dawna (John) Maloney; two brothers, Homer Lee Wisdom and Harry Otis Wisdom Jr.; two sisters, Ida Belle Kaufman and Susan Lynn Parker; four grandchildren, Jason Jackson Jr., Arianna Jackson, Susan Marable and Heather Miles; twelve great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Alissa, Maddison and Oliver Martin, Winrey, Aurora and Titus Jackson, Leah and Ryan Miles, Payton, Carter and Presley Marable.


Per Edith's wishes there are no service scheduled.  Memorials may be made to the Truth Church of La Cygne and may be sent in care of the Schneider Funeral Home P.O. Box 525 Pleasanton, Kansas  66075.  Online condolences may be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com .
