Walk Kansas is a K-State Research and Extension health initiative that promotes personal health and well-being. It is primarily a team-based program that will help you be more active with support from friends and family, make healthier nutrition and beverage choices, and learn helpful techniques to reduce stress.
Sign up individually or as a team.
Teams can be family, coworkers, friends, community organization members, or neighbors. Groups of six form a team, with one serving as the captain. Team members do not have to live in the same town, county, state or country.
Walk Kansas registration is $10 per person and includes weekly news, access to the online system to track physical activity, and local weekly prize drawings.
To register, go to www.walkkansas.org or to pick up a paper registration packet, stop by the K-State Research and Extension Office in Paola at 913 N Pearl Street or Mound City at 115 S 6th Street.
