The Linn County Health Department also conducted a WIC training for health department staff from the counties of Neosho, Crawford, Cherokee, Bourbon, Allen, Woodson and Anderson.

Allen, Anderson, Bourbon and Woodson counties are served by the Southeast Kansas Multicounty Health Department (SEKMHD). Linn County Commissioner Jim Johnson has been pushing for the county to drop its own health department and rejoin the SEKMHD system, however, Commissioners Alison Hamilton and Jason Hightower have continued to support the wider range of services offered by LCHD.
