Jayhawk-Linn band, choir students perform in concert

Jayhawk-Linn Junior High and Senior High students combined to present a Christmas program on Dec. 13 under the direction of music teacher Rachel Wilson and with accompanist Suzanne Thompson.

The combined choir performed six songs, including:

• “Christmas… In About Three Minutes” arranged by Mark Weston

• “The First Snow” by Cristi Cary Miller

• “That’s Christmas to Me” arranged by Audrey Snyder

• “When We’re Together” arranged by Mac Huff

• “Bethlehem Lullaby” arranged by Greg Gilpin

• “Mele Kalikimaka” arranged by Jay Althouse

• “Santa the Barbarian and the Pirates of the North Pole” by Randall D. Standridge

• “Themes from ‘The Nutcracker’” arranged by Ed Huckeby

• “Ukrainian Bell Carol” arranged by Richard L. Saucedo

• “An American Christmas” arranged by Robert W. Smith
