Jayhawk seniors crowned during Homecoming ceremony Friday

Jayhawk-Linn High School seniors Taryn Poole and Dennis Cazares were crowned 2023 Homecoming queen and king on Friday evening, Sept. 29, in a ceremony prior to the Jayhawk’s game with Central Heights.


Friday's ceremony was the culmination of a week of activities that included a parade on Main Street in Mound City on Friday afternoon.


2022 queen Gia Schnieder and king Dylan Nickelson placed crowns on the their successors after they were named.
