Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending April 19

MOUND CITY – The Linn County’s Sheriff’s report for Monday, April 21, showed the current numbers for the week ending April 19 were:


• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 51. Fourteen prisoners were released the past week.

• Total prisoners in were 50.

• One  prisoner was sent to another facility. (One competency evaluation) 

• Thirty-nine prisoners were from other facilities (29 USMS, 4 WYCO, 3 other, $2,972/day)

• Total 911 calls were 66. 

• There were 4,062 jail contacts. 

• Total calls for service were 646. 

• Total civil service papers served were 25.

• There were six vehicle identification number (VIN) inspection.

• Twenty-nine new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Eleven cases were closed.

• There were six vehicle crashes.

• There were 71 SRO activities. 

• There were 170 bailiff contacts resulting in 43 calls for service. 

• Two reports received about livestock out.
