Pleasanton High School crowned a new Queen and King of Homecoming 2025 on Friday,Oct. 10. The proceedings started with the introduction of the candidates.

First came Natalie Bautista and Mario Davis, Natalie is a starter on the volleyball team while Mario is a top receiver with the football team.

Second came Ashlan George and Gage McGinnis, Ashlan is the top hitter for the volleyball team and Gage is the other top receiver for the football team.

The third and final couple was Abbigail Johnson and Kamden Staton, Abbigail an active member of the senior class around the school and Kamden is the starting quarterback for the football team.

Was it going to be the classic case of the star quarterback and his partner? The three couples were lined up on the field, each ready for the announcement. First, the king, Gage McGinnis won after his brother won it last year. Next the queen, Natalie Bautista, was called.

Natalie was sure her name would not be called. But the student votes obviously went her way, and she and Gage stood side by side, both seemingly surprise but happy they won.
