LA CYGNE – The Prairie View USD 362 Board of Education in a special meeting on Monday, Oct. 13, voted unanimously to terminate all contracts wih Buffalo head football coach and weight-room instructor Jason Spradling immediately.
Spradling was suspended from his duties on Thursday, Oct. 9. His suspension was confirmed by Prairie View Superintendent Chris Johnson in a phone interview the following day.

Johnson would not disclose the reason for Spradling’s suspension, saying she could not comment on personnel matters.
She said that the district’s board of education had called a special meeting on Monday to discuss Spradling’s fate. Almost all of that meeting took place behind closed doors.
Spradling, former offensive coordinator, was hired at the end of the 2024-25 school year when former head coach Kyle Littrell announced plans to retire.
Spradling has led the Buffalos (now 5-1) to a very successful season so far. The team avenged a loss in last year’s playoffs against Wellsville with a hard-fought win, and its only loss came at the hands of an underrated Santa Fe Trail team.
Assistant coach Joe Cullor took over as interim head coach at Friday's game against Anderson County. The Buffalos rolled over the Bulldogs 49-8.
