Linn County fire and ambulance report from August 15

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners received reports from the ambulance, fire department and emergency management services on Monday, June 15.

Linn County Fire Chief Shaun Tuggle gave the weekly fire report. Tuggle  said there was one structure fire, one rekindle, two power lines down, two motor vehicle accidents, three woodland fires, four crash detections, six emergency medical service (EMS) assists, and one fire other bringing the year to date total 407 calls.                                                                                                                               

American Medical Response (AMR) operations manager Dawn Brooks gave the AMR report for August 1 through August 16. The report showed there had been a total of 70 calls resulting in 42 transports. The average response time is 14 minutes 31 seconds. The calls by city were:

• Blue Mound, 1 call, 0 transports

• Centerville, 4 calls, 2 transports                                             

• Fulton, 0 calls, 0 transports                                                                                       

• Greeley, 0 calls, 0 transports

• La Cygne, 33 calls, 23 transports

• Fontana, 0 calls, 0 transports

• Lane, 0 calls, 0 transports

• Linn Valley, 0 calls, 0 transports

• Mapleton, 0 calls, 0 transports

• Rich Hill, 0 calls, 0 transports

• Mound City, 11 calls, 4 transports

• Parker, 2 calls, 1 transport

• Pleasanton 18 calls, 11 transports

• Prescott, 1 call, 1 transport
