Emergency services report for week ending Oct. 3
MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners received reports from the ambulance, fire department and emergency management services on Monday, October 5.
Linn County Fire Chief Shaun Tuggle gave the weekly fire report. Tuggle reported that there were two motor vehicle accidents, two emergency medical service (EMS) assists and one power line down.
Linda Simon, county emergency management director, listed the number of meetings and conferences she attended plus trainings she performed. She also presented a resolution for a regional emergency plan (see related story).

American Medical Response (AMR) operations manager Dawn Brooks gave the AMR report for October 1 through October 4. The report showed there had been a total of 12 calls resulting in 7 transports. The average response time is 16 minutes 29 seconds. The calls by city were:
