Fire and ambulance report for week ending Sept. 19
MOUND CITY – The Linn County Commissioners received reports from the ambulance service and fire department on Monday, Sept. 21.
Linn County Fire Chief Shaun Tuggle gave the weekly fire report. Tuggle said there was one emergency medical service (EMS) assist, one gas leak, and two motor vehicle accidents.
American Medical Response (AMR) operations manager Dawn Brooks gave the AMR report for Sept. 1 through Sept. 20. The report showed there had been a total of 75 calls resulting in 47 transports. The average response time is 14 minutes 26 seconds. The calls by city were:

La Cygne, 25 calls, 22 transports
