Fourth-grade students at Parker Elementary School on Tuesday, Nov. 26, put on a Thanksgiving parade mimicking the well-known annual event sponsored by Macy's in New York.

Working in teams of two, students researched a subject they were interested in and then fashioned a "float" out of cardboard to pull around the gym floor for the whole school (plus a few parents) to see. Each float drew applause from spectators.
