Charles Wayne Nichol, age 66, Fort Scott, Kansas, passed away May 29, 2026.  He was born on January 20, 1960, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Carol Thompson Nichol.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  He was a proud member of the Hope Chapel.  He wrote poetry and loved to read his Bible.  

Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Hope Chapel. Inurnment will be in the Fort Scott National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.  Monday July 6, 2026.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
