Huxley Rhys Minchew

With deep love and sorrow, we share that our precious son, Huxley Rhys Minchew, was born sleeping on July 9, 2025.

Huxley is the beloved son of Whitney Minchew and the cherished little brother of Oden, who will always carry him in his heart.  Though his time with us was far too short, Huxley's presence has forever left an imprint of love and hope on our family.

He is also lovingly survived by his aunts, Amber Minchew (Jamie), Stephanie Childs (Drew), Josie Counterman (Jake) and Angelina Counterman (Trey); his cousins, Jared Willard (Rachel), Emee Minchew, Meadow Wadel, Kameron Woods, Keegan Woods, Karter Woods, Henry Childs, Kali Woods, Sutton Simmons and Trey Kos II; his maternal grandparents, Lisa and John Counterman; and his great-grandfather Bob Smith.

Huxley was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmothers Nancy Decker and Marjorie Smith, his great-grandfather, Joe Decker; and many other beloved family members who now hold him in heaven.

A private family service will be held to honor Huxley's life.  Though his time on earth was brief, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who love him.
