Joseph Francis Cunningham III

Joseph Francis "Mr. Joe" Cunningham III, age 57, Nevada, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born on October 17, 1967 in Salina, Kansas, the son of Joseph F. Cunningham II and Sarena A. Moyer Cunningham. He graduated from Manhattan High School and Manhattan VoTech. He received an Associate's Degree from DeVry University. Joe was united in marriage to Kimberly Tressin on July 1, 1989.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, especially growing tulips, fixing up old homes and tinkering. He was madly in love with his wife and was a devoted father. He was preceded in death by his parents. Joe is survived by his wife, Kimberly; a son, Grant Cunningham, wife Carley and three grandchildren; three daughters, Sarah Cunningham and husband Cody Ball, Hannah Cunningham, and Jessie Cunningham; and a sister, Melodee; and stepmother, Judy Cunningham.

A Gathering to Celebrate Joe's life will be held 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City Chapel.  Contributions can be made to the Joe Cunningham Memorial for use by the family.  Online condolences can be left at www.schneiderfunerals.com.
