Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending Nov. 15

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report for Monday, Nov. 17, showed the current numbers for the week ending Nov. 15. The following information was taken directly from the sheriff’s report since the commission meeting was cancelled on Nov. 17.

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 41. Eleven prisoners were released the past week.

• Total prisoners in were 41.

• No prisoners were sent to another facility.

•Twenty-five prisoners were from other facilities (22 United States Marshall Service, 2

Wyandotte County, 1 other, $2,106 day.)

• Total 911 calls were 70. 

• There were 3,566 jail contacts.                                                                                                       •Total calls for service were 794.

• Total civil service papers served were 46.                                                                                     • There were two vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Twenty-six new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Fourteen cases were closed.

• There were 11 vehicle crashes.

• SRO calls for service were 129.

• There were 94 bailiff contacts resulting in 46 calls for service.                                                     • There was one report of livestock out.
