Robert Wiley VanWinkle, age 83, La Cygne, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023. He was born on September 8, 1940, in Butler, Missouri the son of Wiley Gillett and Opal Mae Morgan VanWinkle. He worked as a truck driver before retirement.
Bob was united in marriage to Rhonda Diane Turpen on July 7, 2000. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed going to the casino. His favorite pastime was taking daytrips with his wife Diane. He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, Theresea and Bobbi. Robert is survived by his wife, Diane; a sister, Dorothy Hillebran; and four grandchildren.
