Teresa Pauline Godfrey, age 68, Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Donnie and Alberta England Daulton. She spent many years as a caregiver in the Ursuline Academy.She was a member of the Cross Point Church in Osawatomie.


Teresa loved her family dearly. She enjoyed spending time with all of her family, but, especially attending her grandkids events. She was a garage sale queen and love to fish, fish, fish.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Godfrey, and a grandchild, Krista Hazlett. Teresa is survived by three sons, Kenny Harper(Audra), Jimmy Harper(Candice), and Joshua Godfrey(Sheyenne Smith); two daughters, Stacy Hazlett(Mark), and Jennifer Harper(Chris West); three brothers, Rick Daulton(Carolyn), Wayne Daulton(Tammie), and Vincent Johnson; three sisters, Violet Lewis, LeAnn Elvin, and Carol Cole; seventeen grandchildren, Austin, Shelby, Cody, Courtney, Gavin, Brayden, Jalynn, Rylee, Haley, Makayla, Maddison, Rayann, Landon, Cecilia, Attilyne, Dauhsin, and Silvia; and eight great-grandchildren.


Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Cross Point Church in Osawatomie, Kansas. Burial will be in the Osawatomie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the Cross Point Church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Teresa Godfrey Memorial Fund.
