The most important thing in her life was her family and friends. Talking on the phone, hanging out, going on trips were her most enjoyable times with her family and friends.  She loved the water – didn't matter if was the lake, pool or ocean, she loved them all.  Trina was one of the world's largest Kansas City Chiefs fans.  She was always making plans around a Chiefs' game.  She was united in marriage to Ben Watson on June 25, 1999.  They were blessed with two sons, Kaylor and Kesten.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Ann Danley, and paternal grandparents, Riley and Ruth Shaughnessy.  Trina is survived by her husband; Ben, two sons, Kaylor and Kesten, all of the home; parents, Bill and Kathy Shaughnessy; brother, Jamie Shaughnessy (Amber); father and mother-in-law, Charlie and Rosemary Watson; brother-in-laws, Grant Watson (Jill), Seth Watson (Kristy), Will Watson (Mary); extended family; and wonderful friends.
