Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending July 18

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report for Monday, July 20, showed the current numbers for the week ending July 18.

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 70.  Twelve prisoners were released. Total prisoners in were 70.

• No prisoners were sent to another facility.

• Forty-six prisoners were from other facilities (22 United States Marshall Service, 24 Wyandotte County, 1 Local,  $3,556 per day)

• Total 911 calls were 62.

• There were 5,500 jail contacts.

• Total calls for service were 789.

• Total civil service papers served were 29.        

• There were 19 vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Twenty-eight new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Nine cases were closed.

• There were six vehicle crashes.

• The number of bailiff contacts was 206 resulting in 72 calls for service.

• There were three reports of livestock out.

• There were no SRO calls for services because school is out of session.
