Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending July 25

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report for Monday, July 27, showed the current numbers for the week ending July 25.

Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 72.  Twelve prisoners were released.

Total prisoners in were 72.

No prisoners were sent to another facility.

Forty-six prisoners were from other facilities (23 United States Marshall Service, 23 Wyandotte County, $3,576.50 per day)

Total 911 calls were not available.

There were 6,186  jail contacts                                                                                                          Total calls for service were 677.

Total civil service papers served were 17.                                                                                          There were 23 vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

Twenty-five new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

Ten  cases were closed.

There were three vehicle crashes.

The number of bailiff contacts was 103 resulting in 71 calls for service.                                        There were four reports of livestock out.   

There were no SRO calls for services because schools are out of session.
