Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending June 6

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report read by Commissioner Jason Hightower for Monday, June 8, showed the current numbers for the week ending June 6.

• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 61. Sixteen prisoners were released.

• Total prisoners in were 61.

• No prisoners were sent to another facility.

• Thirty-six prisoners were from other facilities (21 United States Marshall Service and 15 Wyandotte County with income of $2,860.50 per day)

• Total 911 calls were 101.

• There were 4,809 jail contacts                                                                                                 

• Total calls for service were 743.

• Total civil service papers served were 19.                                                                                

• There were 21 vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Thirty-four new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Twelve cases were closed.

• There were 10 vehicle crashes.

• The number of bailiff contacts was 185 resulting in 58 calls for service.

• There were no reports of livestock out.   

• SRO calls for services were 0.  (School is out of session.)
