Linn County Sheriff's report for week ending Nov. 29

MOUND CITY – The Linn County Sheriff’s report for Monday, Dec. 1, showed the current numbers for the week ending Nov. 29.


• Total prisoners at the Justice Center the past week were 38. Twelve prisoners were

released the past week.

• Total prisoners in were 38.

• No prisoners were sent to another facility.

• Twenty-three prisoners were from other facilities (21 United States Marshall Service, 2

Wyandotte County, $1,983 day.)

• Total 911 calls were 75. 

• There were 3,512 jail contacts.                                                                                                         • Total calls for service were 523.

• Total civil service papers served were 13.                                                                                       • There were three vehicle identification number (VIN) inspections.

• Twenty-one new cases (criminal, child in need of care, etc.) were opened.

• Two cases were closed.

• There were 06 vehicle crashes.

• SRO calls for service were 46.

• The number of bailiff contacts was N/A.                                                                                         • There was one report of livestock out.
